Dana White says he knows exactly where the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua heavyweight rematch will be held – and he claims he made the deal himself.

The long-awaited bout has been stuck for months over venue and date, but White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and a long-time Fury ally, now insists the fight will land in Saudi Arabia. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said the location will be "where the money is," signaling a lucrative deal likely driven by Saudi Arabia’s deep pockets and aggressive push into elite combat sports.

The fight has been in limbo since Fury and Joshua first agreed to face off in late 2022. Multiple venues were floated – from London to Dubai – but each fell through due to scheduling conflicts, broadcast disputes, or financial disagreements. Saudi Arabia has become the go-to destination for high-profile boxing matches, hosting major events like the Canelo Alvarez-Billy Joe Saunders clash and the upcoming Anthony Joshua-Dillian Whyte rematch. Fury himself has fought in Saudi before, knocking out Derek Chisora in 2022, and is said to be comfortable returning. The financial incentives are substantial: Saudi’s Public Investment Fund is pouring billions into sports as part of its Vision 2030 plan, and boxing is a key target.

If the fight lands in Saudi Arabia, it would mark another major step in the country’s sports push and secure a massive payday for both fighters. Fury and Joshua are two of the sport’s biggest draws, and a rematch could generate hundreds of millions in pay-per-view revenue. White’s involvement suggests he’s playing a role in brokering the deal, likely using his influence in combat sports to help finalize terms. Negotiations are reportedly in the final stages, with an official announcement expected within weeks. For fans and broadcasters, the wait is nearly over – but the real fight for attention will begin once the venue is confirmed.
