Universal Studios Hollywood has revealed the full lineup for its 2026 Halloween Horror Nights, adding fresh scares to the annual event that has become a staple of the fall season in Southern California.

The park announced the final additions to its haunted houses and experiences, including a return of the fan-favorite "Killer Klowns From Outer Space," the 1988 cult classic slasher film brought to life in terrifying detail. Two new original attractions will also debut: "KILLceaรฑera: Music by SLASH," a rock-and-roll themed haunted house featuring music from the Guns N' Roses guitarist, and "Dead, Deader, Deadest," a zombie apocalypse-themed experience. A fiery stunt show, themed around fiery destruction and pyrotechnics, is also part of the lineup. The event runs from September 18 through November 1, 2026, with tickets going on sale later this year.

Halloween Horror Nights has grown into a major draw for Universal Studios Hollywood, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The event first launched in 1991 and has since expanded to include multiple haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment. The addition of themed music and stunt shows reflects a broader trend in Halloween events toward immersive, multimedia experiences. Industry analysts say the park's focus on licensed properties and original concepts helps it stay competitive against other Halloween events in the region.

The lineupโ€™s inclusion of "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" taps into nostalgia for 1980s horror, while "KILLceaรฑera" and "Dead, Deader, Deadest" cater to modern horror fans seeking high-energy, music-driven and apocalyptic themes. The fiery stunt show adds a spectacle element, likely drawing crowds looking for visual thrills beyond traditional haunted houses. Industry experts expect Universal to continue blending classic horror with contemporary pop culture to keep the event fresh. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly, as past years have seen high demand, especially during peak weekends.
