(RTTNews) - Commercial real estate services firm Newmark Group, Inc. (NMRK) announced on Friday that Chief Executive Barry Gosin will step down on December 31, after nearly five decades in the role.

Gosin, who has been leading the group since 1979 will remain as Chairman of Newmark & Co. through 2029.

On the Nasdaq, shares of Newmark are currently losing 1.63 percent, changing hands at $14.77.
