It’s been a busy day of announcements with IFA 2026 underway, especially for smart lights. Philips Hue just launched several new products and features . Now it’s Govee’s turn, which has four new lights to be on the lookout for. The company is launching a new ceiling light, two light strips, and an outdoor light.
According to the smart home brand, the Sky Ceiling Light is the “industry’s first AI-powered mood-responsive ceiling light.” Dubbed “AI Lighting Bot 2.0,” this AI is said to take your moods and daily needs into account to create personalized lighting. In addition to the AI, the ceiling light will also use some of Govee’s advanced lighting technologies, like its Vitality Spectrum and NaturalTone Algorithm.
The Vitality Spectrum delivers a custom 478nm sky-blue wavelength for maintaining alertness when natural daylight is limited. Meanwhile, the NaturalTone Algorithm is designed to provide accurate and natural-looking white light across a 1,000K–10,000K color temperature range.
The Sky Ceiling Light supports Matter, so you’ll be able to connect it with your other smart home devices. It will feature DaySync, which automatically adjusts the light based on time and weather. And it is TÜV Rheinland-certified for flicker-free and low-glare performance.
Govee is rolling out second-generation COB Strip Lights. There will be a standard model and a Pro model. The COB Strip Light 2 is designed to provide spot-free illumination. It will also make use of AI to power lighting scenes.
The COB Strip Light 2 Pro is the flagship model. Just like the Sky Ceiling Light, this strip light will use AI Lighting Bot 2.0 for personalized lighting scenes. That means you’ll be able to create scenes with voice or text prompts.
Something notable about the Pro is that it will use a triple-layer groove design, and it will have 1,344 LEDs and 16 ICs per meter. You can also expect to have access to Govee’s proprietary LuminBlend Plus color engine, which offers an ultrawide color temperature range of 1,000K–10,000K.
