Google Keep’s ‘Find in note’ feature is finally (finally!) rolling out for all

We uncovered Google Keep ‘s ‘find in note’ feature over a year ago, allowing you to quickly search a given note. The feature first rolled out early this month, but this appeared to be a limited release. Fortunately, there’s good news if you were waiting for the option to arrive on your phone.

Google Keep’s ‘find in note’ feature is now rolling out widely to many users (h/t: 9to5Google ). I can confirm seeing the feature on several devices. Several Android Authority colleagues have also confirmed the feature’s availability on their devices, although one team member still isn’t seeing it.

We spotted the feature in Google Keep versions 5.26.321 and 5.26.331. This suggests that it’s a server-side update, so you likely don’t have to update your app to see the change.

The ‘find in note’ option is accessible via the three-dot menu in your notes. This allows you to type a search term to find all instances of it in a note or list, akin to using Ctrl+F in your browser.

This rollout also comes a day after we discovered that Google Keep could let you create a to-do list inside a regular note , or add notes to a to-do list. So we’re glad to see more useful features coming to Keep.
