Alvopetro Energy reports $19.2 million Q2 revenue, boosts sales volumes 26%

Alvopetro Energy Ltd reported significant financial gains for the second quarter of 2026, driven by increased sales volumes and rising natural gas prices. The company revealed that it averaged 3,067 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) during the quarter, marking a 26% increase from the same period last year, although it was a slight decline of 2% compared to the first quarter of this year.

This uptick in revenue comes at a time when Alvopetro is actively expanding its production capabilities. The company noted that its average realized natural gas price reached $10.98 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf), a 3% increase year-over-year and an 8% rise compared to the previous quarter. Overall, natural gas, oil, and condensate revenues soared to $19.2 million, reflecting a 37% increase from Q2 2025 and a 10% rise from Q1 2026. Funds flow from operations also climbed to $14.1 million, equating to $0.37 per share, bolstered by higher sales volumes and prices.

In addition to financial growth, Alvopetro has been active in its drilling operations. The company completed the drilling of the 183-D1 well in June, which revealed potential natural gas pay across multiple formations. The well is expected to begin production later this month. Furthermore, the company is currently drilling the 183-H2 well and plans to move to the 183-G2 location afterward, which will mark the first development well from a new drilling pad.

Looking ahead, Alvopetro aims to enhance its production facility and pipeline capacity in the Murucututu field, as well as upgrade its natural gas processing capabilities. These improvements are crucial as the company anticipates a continued increase in production of richer gas, setting the stage for sustained growth in the latter half of 2026.
